2020 Technology GmbH presents at the IMM Cologne 2020 software solutions for digital transformation in the furniture industry to help companies meet changed customer expectations and implement new digital business models.
As consumer expectations evolve and put more demand on companies to provide online solutions, custom orders, mobility solutions, and faster turnaround times, it’s important for companies to stay ahead of the competition with solutions that can power their business and look ahead to where digital transformation can lead their business. 2020 is working with furniture manufacturers and retailers across the world to create an end-to-end solution that can be used by all players in the value chain to break down the barriers that until now have been a disconnected set of processes, but that will not be sustainable in the long run. At IMM, 2020 will share with visitors the effects, benefits and implementation possibilities of digital transformation for their companies.
Industry-Specific Omnichannel Solution
2020 Ideal Spaces is a cloud-based 3D space-planning solution that provides an industry platform enabling omnichannel retail for consumers, home centers, retailers, and manufacturers. It improves the customer onboarding experience through every step of the buying journey, from inspiration to qualification to space planning to purchase—resulting in higher qualified leads and conversions. 2020 Ideal Spaces is already being used by well-known retailers such as Porta and Siko as a solution to create new distribution models and bring visitors from the website to local furniture stores.
Adding Furniture-Specific Value to Standard ERP Solutions
2020 Insight provides flexible manufacturing operations management software that is developed and enhanced based on the precise needs of today’s furniture manufacturers. 2020 Insight modules can be used on their own or as value-added modules to an already-implemented standard ERP system in order to further progress digital transformation, especially for furniture-specific processes. For example, 2020 Insight modules can be integrated into an existing standard ERP solution to standardize special orders. Special orders can thus be covered with a digital standard process so that the increasing expectations of customers for individual furniture at affordable prices can be met without the company falling into a cost trap. For furniture manufacturers with existing ERP solutions, 2020 Insight modules with MES functionalities offer a valuable addition. They make it possible to take the specific characteristics of the furniture industry in production planning and production control into account and guarantee the digital transformation capability of these processes. “A flexible and dynamic enterprise manufacturing solution is fundamental to the success of every furniture manufacturers’ strategy,” says 2020 Insight Product Manager Diane Burgess. “Leveraging 2020’s deep domain expertise, we are excited to help our customers accelerate their own customer satisfaction and digital transformation initiatives.”
