Is there a way to un-merge shapes that I have placed next to each other? I’d like to be able to move them around and away from each other if I need to.

Hi Karlie,

I’m pretty sure that once you merge two items it becomes a single item and cannot be “unmerged” short of “undoing” the merge.

If you want to avoid having the shapes merge when you place them next to each other you can turn off the Link option in the lower right before placing the shapes next to each other.
