When I try and download an image to my design from Sketch Up, it turns my entire layout black and freezes the program. I’ve tried to download several different items and the same thing happens every time. Any suggestions? Thanks!

      Hi Jordyn,

      please try this other method.

Save the Sketchup shape/item to your computer first
Then complete the following steps to import a Sketchup shape:

In the File tab, click Import and then choose From local storage.
In the Import dialog box, select the file .skp type, the file name and then click Open.
The 2020 Units dialog box displays the imported image dimensions and allows you to import using different types of measurements.
      Click Continue.
Click in the 2020 Floor Plan to add the item.
Move the item to the new location and click to set the item.

If this doesn’t work please contact our support team at support@2020spaces.com
Please describe your issue and someone will be contacting you on this subject.

      Hello,

      In addition to Roberto’s instructions;

Before you import the sketch up file to 2020

      Open the file

Click the Edit tab, “Unhide”, “All”

If any other items or lines appear right click on them & select erase

After all unwanted items have been erased, go to the Windows tab & select Model Info.  Go down to Statistics & Select Purge Unused

Go to the file tab & select Save As

In the Save as type, select sketch up version 8 or under.

If you save the file in a later version you will not be able to import.

      Hope this helps!
