      10/2000 – $746.93
      10/2021 – $963.43
      12/2022 – $1202.00
      11/2023 – $ 1895.00
      11/2024 – $2809.08 !!!!!

OVER ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR INCREASE IN TWELVE MONTHS!

A 48% increase in one year. When I say business has been horrible in the US for cabinet businesses, I know I speak for many of you. I can’t afford this software. I feel that the new owners, Cyncly are abusing its client base.

I’m a small business, not Home Depot or Lowes. Last year I was forced to apply for credit to purchase the software lease as Cyncly canceled access to the software. I’m still paying for that, and I renew in days.

If I could go back to the Dongle, I would. I don’t need all the bells and whistles, I need a floor plan, elevations, and pricing. I’m not sure what to do at the end of this month. There are no other options and ProKitchen has been increasing pricing when Cyncly does. Creating a monopoly.

<span style=”color: #1f1f1f; font-family: ‘Google Sans’, Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; white-space-collapse: preserve;”>I can understand you. I feel often very displeased when something like this happens. Because my salary ain’t growing proportionally to the software prices! That makes me so pissed off sometimes. However, mad or not, I have to pay these extra expenditures. So I decided to find some extra income like https://tojiwin.net/ website, for example. There, I can promote a website and receive commission for this. Hope this helps.</span>

      100%

It used to be so much better when you buy the software once and if you wanted to keep up support, pay an additional I think $800/year.  What they’re requesting now is ridiculous.

Unfortunately I need to renew my license but it’s tough considering how NJ is screwing people over with also insane property tax increases- Mine went up an additional 2,500 this past year to now being $16k; I was at $10k about 5 years ago. It’s pure insanity with how much Cyncly has increased pricing and with that, they won’t do monthly financing (I don’t have a CC and never would get one again).

For now, it seems the best thing to do is learn and use a program that’s cheaper. May not do as much -especially in regards to pricing and such- but would be better financially in the long run i think. It’s why I’m learning Sketchup. Not ideal but by next year when it’s renewal time, I shouldn’t need 2020Design.

Also, is the Elite necessary for you? Certainly not for me, not now. It’ll cut it to about 2300/year but i know, that’s still quite the jump yearly.

I agree with you all to a degree. This year was obnoxious.
My team has 10+ licenses, so you can imagine the expense.

However, there is not a day that I don’t have the program open, and despite it’s flaws, it is currently the best for what I need to do.  We also have ProKitchen licenses, and I use it as well, along with Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, and I’m aware of how Chief Architect functions.

When you consider the price of a license, and break it out per month or even per week – it’s less than many of us would spend on coffee per week.
And definitely less than most of America spends on cable/internet/streaming/prime.

There is definitely a trend in the industry where we feel like we can’t charge more for our services, and sometimes I think that hurts us. For me, I’m looking to where I can make my processes more efficient on day-to-day with pre-planning of forms, templates, etc so that I can utilize my design time to the max – and end up with better plans, less issues in my layout come install, etc.
