Editable Wall Tiles vs. anything else?

Is there a way to create a design on a wall, using the Editable Wall Tile, or anything else, so that I can place a window, door or other item in the middle of it and the tile won’t cover the placed item?  I have been creating multiple tile work around a window in a at least 3 – 4 swatches to go around the window, but there has got to be a better way, if not, THERE SHOULD BE!  😉  Thoughts?

You shopuld be using Place/Surface which allows you to draw around items such as windows.

The trick with place surface is to put panels on the wall each side of the cutout/obstruction with its bottom edge at the same height each side – this gives you a marker to drawer to (you’ll understand when you play with it.).

      See attached.

Neil, this could be a much better tool if we had options to edit in the same way as a benchtop and both benchtops and Surfaces could do with an option to draw cutout shapes in them.

See attached. If you are talking about placing single tiles and then being able to cut bits of them out then yes, this would also be a handy feature.
