So I work for a Kitchen Design company and they’ve given me a copy of 2020 Design version 9 and are telling me it can be installed on my Mac OS X Catalina MacBook. However my husband is an IT tech and when he puts the disk in I do not get an option to even start the install. I am thinking it’s not possible.
Can someone confirm whether it can work or not so my husband won’t stop attempting

Hello Stuart,
That is correct. 2020 Design can only run on a Windows . In order to run it on a Mac computer, you will need a virtual layer like “Boot Camp” to simulate a Windows Environment.
Also, you should know that V9 is a very old version (rolled out in 2011) and is no longer supported.
V12 has been rolled out October of last year.
