Lancelot Pinnock is a Rhode Island native and the inventor of the Step 180. Lancelot studied Assistive Technology at the University of Rhode Island. Lancelot’s design philosophy is to find beauty in simplicity. This aesthetic helped him garner recognition from his professors, friends and family.

Hideaway Solutions began with the invention of the Step 180. A product designed to help Lancelot and Dana’s son reach the countertop to help with cooking and to wash his hands. The product's design is for easy use by any age and it is quick to stow away when not in use. Our customers continue to surprise us with the applications that they find for the Step 180.
